Mō te tūnga | About the role:

As an Enrolled Nurse at Peacehaven Village, you will ensure the care and clinical needs of our residents are met, you will mentor our Health Care Assistants and support our Registered Nurses in providing great healthcare to our residents.

You will enjoy permanent part time hours (sixty four hours per fortnight), we provide support for our residents 24 hours a day 7 days a week - this role includes weekend work.

Peacehaven is a beautiful and well-maintained rest home and hospital providing short and long term accommodation, dementia care, respite and caregiver support and compassionate palliative care for our 120 residents.  We are privileged to have a devoted team of 150 professionals who diligently strive to create an atmosphere where our residents and their whanau feel genuinely welcomed and at home.

 Ngā pūkenga | What you will need to be successful: 

  • registration as an Enrolled Nurse with a current APC
  • strong interpersonal skills combined with a proactive commitment to fostering strong professional relationships with the entire team, residents, family members, and support services
  • positive energy, enthusiastic attitude with a team focus
  • inspiring and guiding others to seamlessly coordinate services within the care home, fostering an environment of efficiency and excellence 
  • 2+ years' Enrolled Nurse, aged care experience
