As our lifestyle coordinator you will play a central role in enriching the lives of kaumātua (elders) by designing and delivering innovative, meaningful, and culturally appropriate daily experiences tailored to their individual physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cultural needs, This permanent, 30-hour-per-week role is based in our dementia unit, Iona at Peacehaven, where you will support up to 46 kaumātua living with cognitive challenges to engage in purposeful and enjoyable activities.
This position requires leadership in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities that not only promote engagement but also enhance well being and a sense of purpose among kaumātua. The role demands strong collaboration with clinical teams, whānau, and the wider community while upholding the organisation’s core values of respect, compassion, whānau, community, and accountability

Peacehaven, Iona, offers a comprehensive range of services, amenities and care options, including dementia care at rest home and hospital level, It also has a psychogeriatric dementia unit, the only D6 facility in Southland , we support up to 46 D3 and D6 residents.
